Chainmail jewelry creations in sterling silver and copper are the focus of this gallery. Chainmail is perfect for the man or woman looking for something different yet sophisticated in the jewelry line. Made with small rings chainmail can be surprisingly delicate and with the larger rings lovely but very substantial. All chainmail weaves are lovely without extra accents but I frequently add Swarovski crystals, glass beads, metal beads, freshwater pearls or gemstones. I coil and cut my own rings and then tumble polish them to a lustrous shine.
Generally speaking most of the plain chainmail bracelets, necklaces and anklets can be sized up or down depending on your needs. If you see a piece you would like that has crystals, pearls, etc that is not the size you need please contact us regarding altering or custom ordering. There is a minimal charge for down sizing. If item needs to be increased in size pricing will depend on complexity of weave, ring sizes and extra length needed.
Weaves generally used are byzantium and it's variations, foxtail, roundmaille and it's variations, parallel variations, helm chain, staggered corduroy, full persian, half persian 3-1, euro 4-1, spirals, some of the hybrid weaves and some of the Japanese weaves. I have found that I am enthralled by the weaves and am always learning (or at least trying to learn) new ones.
